Nursing old a 5 year?

Quite well... like old makes you, the ladies, und/oder men, thinks, is too old for a child, who was nursed?

I nurse my daughter, and hope to continue, until she/it is old.A-Frau in my office building one year, told me (during a discussion about my pump with the work) that she/it nursed all her/its/their children until they were five years old. I am relatively sure, thereß my jaw fell,... lol.
I don\'t believe personally that I could handle myself the nursing of a child, that particularly old..., because they are a CHILD at this point, and no more a baby. But, to everyone his or she/it, I assume own.
Being surprised itself only, what your opinion of nursing is so long. And, if it any Mütter from there, that whoever chose to work her/its/their children as a nurse for this long one to choose what brought you to it, to do, gives with it?

@ F-Bombe.... LMAO! This, from where my brain was, as I said, thereß she/it a child is, is nice and no more a baby with 5. I kann\'t introduces itself my toddler or my kindergarten old-age child, the aufwärts to me runs and me tells that her/its/their hungry one, for only me, that sped from a boob. Kümmern you you, this doesn\'t come from a place of the judgment of which other people, you do, I cannot imagine feeling simply personally him/it comfortable doing myself.

I think that in North America, that is a real little from the norm. I, that breast my children until ungefähr 15 month fed, they let me known if she/it still wants to work didn\'t as a nurse.

The single time was, if I ever heard about children, who work so long as nurses, as I read an article about a distant trunk in Africa, the social norm of approximately 5 years is children full age to work as a nurse upward.

Only follow your instincts and do what is right for your baby,

from Ellen, I believe that it depends on a mother and her/its/their child how long they should nurse, and otherwise nobody. You/they do this, which für you and your baby right is.

There is not anything wrong with a woman and her/its/their child, who decide, to continue to nurse to this age, but it is exceptional in our western culture. Das\'s, why rarely we from it hören,; therefore cannot be people over anything judgmental, which is no one of her/its/their business. In other cultures erhält a child, who nurses to this age, valuable immunities, that could spell the difference between lives and the death.

from Starsfan.... It is strangely, but it is not wrong. I believe Eltern-Bedürfnis, to decide itself, which are the best for her/it/them and her/its/their children. If she/it both aspects erwägen, needs her/its/their needs and her/its/their children, then, the elections, that they do, are the best for her/its/their family. Even if those elections ouchßerhalb it what "we" consider normal falls.

I would be no breast feeding so long. But the wäre not best for me and my family. What she/it does, is her/its/their business. So living and ließ, you are alive.

from Mom to 3, a toddler or a preschooler are very much under 8 cultivations, much other, than an infant\'s working as a nurse. I nursed my jüngstes, until she/it 14 months old and my middle child was until she/it was 2 1/2 years old.

My most recent still works as a nurse with almost 3 1/2, but he/it works directly as a nurse and only at home before the bed most days only once per day. If doesn\'t turn towards ich\'m with bedtime theück, he/it goes to sleep, simply you punish for my husband, and can makes do without the care. He/it doesn\'t-Krankenschwester während the night also. Otherwise nobody muß him/it ever still as a nurse sees work, he/it doesn\'t, to work as a nurse in public, asks, and if he/it is hungry or thirsty for the day, I give him/it regular meal and beverages. He/it is a großer eaters also many fruits, veggies, meat, dairy, and he/it drinks water, cow, \'s-Milch and juice. ICH\'m, that hopes, thereß he/it before its 4. Birthday entwit becomes öhnen, but that a care about day so very much really doesn\'t influence me, therefore we take only one day of matters at a time. Es\'s a nice way, to finish the day, it still gives him/it a bißchen of added nutrition and immunity, and it hurts nobody.

I believe that the most older nurses this way nurslings, first per day or smooths once per week. Es\'s not many times times one day like people, you introduce yourself, if she/it only experience in nursing Säuglingen has.

I think also his/its strange one and his/its bad one on the child. His/its important one, to stop it, if the child jünger is, how they find it more easily than it hasn, rises long \'t for as it. It will be way more difficult to remove a child of those from breastmilk after 5 years.
